How do you feel about surgery?

Post by Nebulous »

How do you feel about surgery? Would you consider having surgery that isn't completely necessary, like plastic surgery?

I always used to say I'd like surgery on my *ahem* chest. Not to make em bigger, smaller. Always hated them and I always suspected they didn't help with my back pain, though I haven't really had too much trouble there for a while. Now, honestly I'm not sure.

No, I wouldn't consider surgery unless it was to remove a cancer or otherwise do something that would prolong my life, or improve the quality of my life.

That said, I think people should feel very safe to alter their bodies to make themselves feel better or more like themself. :dhappy:

Seems kind of scary to me. I hope I don't have to have surgery in the near future!

Agree on both counts. Hopefully none of us have to worry about it for some time at least.

I seriously hate being under the knife. It's one of the things that still creeps me out as an adult.

I have had 8 stitches on my left eye. I was busted wide open with a chair when I was fighting but that's it with me and being operated on.

I will do everything to avoid having a surgery.

Ouch that sounds awful. :dshock: and super scary. I’d want to avoid it too. I hate it enough getting stuff done that isn’t nearly as bad.

Ouch. I hope that went okay. :dshock:

Most I ever had done was when I had my wisdom teeth out. Honestly didn't really hurt as I had them knock me out. I don't even remember too much pain afterwards.

I did fully recover after my discharge from the hospital.
