Kyle shrugged. “I don’t know.” He said. “Though that might mean the way back to town is the way they came. Or I’m sure they could bring you back if you really want.”

"True, we could follow the general direction they came from... Did you want to head back to town?"

“I guess so. You probably did regardless, right?” Kyle asked.

"I should, but I don't mind the woods, either. It's still more interesting than the desert."

“Well, I guess if you wanna stay here a bit that’s fine. It’s not like I was planning on going home yet anyway.” Kyle said scratching his head. “I don’t really get out all that often anyway.”

She pouted. "My point was it was up to you. I'm fine either way. It didn't seem like you wanted to go home yet, so..."

"Oh...well...you said you should get back, so I guess we can. Might take us a while to get back anyway." Kyle said sighing.

She moved to grasp his hand for a moment, turning to look away from him to hide that she was clearly embarrassed from doing so. "This way, we won't get separated and lost even further."

Kyle blushed a little surprised. He hadn't really held hands too often with girls before. "Um...okay." Kyle said as he held her hand. "Let's go. It's...er this way." he said heading in the direction the guards had come from earlier.

She noticed the way he blushed. Had he not even noticed she he pulled her along when they were escaping his guards? It made her giggle slightly as she followed him, seeming to feel more at ease from the realization. "Thank you for your help, Kyle."
