I discovered web publishing (old term for "web design/development") in college as part of my Mass Communications major. I learned HTML and basic CSS, and after graduation, I was inspired to learn more about the backend and eventually got interested in making websites. I eventually got a job with web development for a while until I got laid off. Now I'm going through a career change (trying anyway) and focusing more on AI/machine learning field.
I still own a blog because I still want my own corner on the internet. I also had to build more sites (portfolios) as part of my job hunting, too. And I used to love building so many gaming and anime/manga shrines back in the old days. I also made forums for my favorite series so I can meet fellow fans and others who have the same interests as I do.
