Middle Earth, The Chronicles of Prydain, His Dark Materials, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and Harry Potter do it for me.

Yay Harry Potter!

Though never was huge with The Lord of the Rings. Just found it very dull. I did like "The Hobbit" more though.

Pfft. Lord of the Rings is the very opposite of dull.

It just moved way too slow for me.

Add in The Worst Witch, The Curse of Capistrano, and The Dinosaur Lords. I’ll probably also pick up Conan the Cimmerian at some point.

I'm a bookworm and I read a ton of manga, so this list could get long.

-Regular Novels-
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See
Magic or Madness by Justine Larbalestier

-Manga- (Note: I can't remember most of the authors... sorry.)
Alive: The Final Evolution
Dolls Code
Yandere Kanojo
Cardcaptor Sakura
Tabi no Michizure
High Rise Invasion
Maid-san in My House
Mimam Renai
Hakoiri Drops
Sugar Family

I approve of Cardcaptor Sakura. =3 Love it. I still have yet to finish reading it though. XD

Edit: Well, I finally finished it! And read what's out of Clear Card. So good!

Let's see...my favorite book is probably All Around the Town by Mary Higgins Clark and then My Sweet Audrina by V.C. Andrews. I actually like a lot of the books by both of these women. There are also quite a few books that I've liked that are considered "Young Adult," like the Anonymous Series with books like Go Ask Alice. There was another book I read not too long ago that got me pretty hooked, but I'm struggling to remember the name right now. I haven't had the chance to read for pleasure much recently unfortunately.
