Role Play: Mao

[Megan]

Not long after the doctor came out. He was shocked to see both Nestor and Kyle like that. He quickly examined them, then sighed. "I'm afraid it looks like even they caught Mao..."

[Kyng]

Nestor was a bit puzzled by this statement.

"You said 'Even they'..." he observed. "Does that mean that others have caught it too?"

[Megan]

The doctor nodded though looked confused. “Of course...what hole have you been leaving in?”

[Enryu]

Vola took a step back. "How does someone even get it?" she asked. "Is it conta-conta-" She began, before eventually giving up on her word choice. "Does it spread easily?"

[Megan]

The doctor shrugged. “We don’t know...it seems to spread, randomly. From what I’ve seen it doesn’t seem contagious though.”

[Enryu]

Vola suddenly seemed a bit more confident. “Good. I doubt it could even infect an orc anyway. We’re much too hearty a people.” She said smugly. “All the same, i should probably not stay too close to all these sick people....”

[Kyng]

Nestor looked a little irritated with the doctor: he assumed that this was a jab at his accident in the garden last week, when he slipped over while planting a tree, and fell into the hole he was digging.

"Look, I don't do the gardening any more!" Nestor whined. "So you can shut up about that!"

[Megan]

The doctor snorted. “I never said anything about that even if it was moronic. Sadly for you both a cure for this hasn’t been found yet...so unless one is, you’ll both will die from this after it spreads...”

[Kyng]

"BUT I CAN'T DIE YET!!!!" Nestor whined, trembling with fear. "I need to live to see my kids grow up! And my grandkids... I'll never live to see my grandkids :O !!! I mean, I don't have any yet, but that's my point: it is absolutely IMPERATIVE that you find a cure!!!!"

[Enryu]

Vola flinched at Nestor's mention of children. "Aye, if you have children, you should be around for them." she said. " And the runt still needs a chance to prove himself." she added, referring to Kyle. "I have no purpose. Maybe it's time I found one again, and maybe this could be it." she suggested, almost as if convincing herself. " I will search for the cure. It is only right, since I am still healthy and not trusted to do anything else."
